Em outubro de 2012, o cantor Jun.K, integrante do grupo 2PM, surpreendeu com uma mudança repentina de nome de JunSu para Min Jun. Agora, com o retorno do grupo, ele revelou que fez isso pelo pai.

Na quarta-feira, 15 de maio, o sexteto esteve no programa Radio Star, da MBC, e Jun.K falou sobre a mudança.

“É um assunto de família, mas no ano passado meu pai faleceu. Existe um significado para isso na minha família, e eu decidi segui-lo por causa da situação”, explicou.

Ele acrescentou que seguiu a vontade de seu pai e trocou oficialmente o seu nome de Junsu para Min Jun. Ele tem usado o nome Jun.K para as atividades oficiais.

O apresentador Yoon JongShin elogiou o cantor pela mudança de nome, já que deve ter sido difícil fazer isso entre as promoções artísticas.
